Radmoor Road,
A small, friendly College welcoming people with disabilities of all abilities aged 16-63 on a residential or day basis. Many but not all students have a sight problem. People also join with chronic illness, hearing loss, learning difficulties, physical mobility difficulties, mild to moderate mental health issues or mild to moderate autism, including Aspergerâs syndrome.
RNIB College Loughborough offers a supportive environment to achieve academic, career or independence goals. The College shares a campus with a mainstream college and can offer a wide range of course options.
Further Education programmes for people aged 16-19 (sometimes 25) are funded by the Learning & Skills Council. Courses range from pre-entry level, for people with learning difficulties right through to Higher Education. Alongside the main area of study learners are also supported in developing independent living skills. Courses start in September each year.
Adult work focused courses are funded by Jobcentre Plus and the Residential Training Unit for disabled adults. We may be able to offer you a programme if you are a person with disabilities who is unemployed or in employment and wishing to retrain. Some courses have flexible start dates throughout the year.
