  was looking to book my honeymoon and my family adviced me to go to home and away although i was looking and shoping around the net and other travel agents. i must say my father was correct and i know why he is has been using them for over 10 years and reccomending all freinds and family to them. price was the cheapest,advice was great and holiday was wonderfull.....since then i have advcied my friend to book his honeymoon.........he told me home and away saved him money and time too also service was great. the review above i think is misguiding other people away from this good company

• Bad experience

  I had been making a booking with them Since Jan 08 (it is now May 08) for package holiday to indonesia and thiland for honeymoon. Firstly, the person who we were booking with had left (without telling us) in March 08. On our end we thought that everything was booked however we called the company in May08 to confirm and make a final payment BUT the agent to whom we were speaking had left no record of our booking. That aside, we then started again. The company had no consideration of how badly they had let us down and had the audacity to double the price we were previously quoted. In addition to this, the time of our second booking, there were several promotions avaliable with our airline and despite several telephone conversations they refused to listen and refused to give us this promotion that we were entitled to. Worst agent. Since they have expanded they are really not intrested in quality only money. They will say yes to your package but then there will be hidden costs for example, we had asked for a breakdown and when that was finally given, transfers were not included. 3 months of hassle, never again, prices are not competitive. NOT WORTH IT
