Dr. Chang has more than 30 years clinical experience in China, Ireland and Ayrshire. Dr. Chang specialises in muscular and skeletal problems, digestive system and skin disorders, energy enhancement, infertility support, skin disorders, Backache, I.B.S, Stress. Acupuncture Therapy has been practiced in China for 2,000 years. It's a form of Traditional Chinese Medicine based on the understanding that our body's motivating energy force or Qi (pronounced chi) moves through a network of channels, or meridians, that run beneath the skin. Illness arises from blockages in the energy flow. Acupuncture Therapists insert fine, sterile needles at various Qi points on the meridians to rebalance and unblock the body's energy. Dr Chang, the acupuncturist will ask for a full case history and list of symptoms, take the pulse of your energy flow and look at your tongue. Tongue diagnosis is extremely important in Traditional Chinese Medicine, this diagnosis method have been used in China for 3,000 years. He'll then decide which Qi points and meridians to work on. Dr Chang will show you Acupuncture Meridian Charts during your appointment, which you may find interesting. He can read these Acupuncture Meridian Charts to you and show you from the Acupuncture Meridian Charts which Qi Meridians are blocked, where these Qi Meridians run from referring to the Acupuncture Meridian Charts and explain what each meridian does.

am an experienced and established Acupuncturist in Essex having practiced Acupuncture in the UK for more than 30 years. The aim of my Acupuncture Clinic is to provide highly professional, friendly and personal services to clients in order to improve their health, well-being and quality of life.

I was born and grew up in China and came to England in 1979 after my education. I trained and qualified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine (CHM) both in China and in the UK. I was a Registered General Nurse (qualified in 1988). I have completed a Master's degree course in Chinese Herbal Medicine at the University of Westminster in 2007.

Many clients have come to my Clinic through word of mouth and GP recommendations, as the Clinic provides exceptionally high quality care and treatment experience for clients in a tranquil and relaxing environment.
