Baobab is a very nice cafe; sadly it is quite small. I love the lively decorations, it really gives this little place a great atmosphere and feels totally different to the usual pubs. They also serve sandwiches, paninis, etc... so you can grab a bit while you're there as well. Personally I tried their panini and it was fine; I did however think they were rather small for the price. Drinks are also not on the cheap side but you are paying for the atmosphere of the place I guess. It can get really busy which is a major downside as you easily feel cramped and it can get very loud. The staff is very friendly and don't mind special requests.

When going in Baobob, its a really swanky trendy place. It is designed with really nice bright colours and it just looks like a nice place just to chill out. It does have that very calm feeling for such a small place where it is all so hectic due to it being very busy. Generally it is the standard cafe food like sandwiches, toasties, panninis cookies etc. As for drinks you again have your standard things tea, coffee, mocha, hot chocolate, cappacino etc. When i went last i had an absolutly delicious milkshakeAlso for those interested they do fair trade things as well The bad is that it is very pricey and as stated before it is very small.

I visited this cafe on Saturday, with my daughter having checked on the web for a Costas of similiar and finding none. Never mind! This cafe has wonderful coffee and superb food, served quickly and with a friendly service. Sort of studenty, but made very welcome. Recommended toastie of brie, cranberry and bacon on wholemeal was delicious. Added bonus, I bought a friend the perfect present for her birthday - she loves African art! Will be visiting again when I come to see my daughter to trawl through the menu.
