I ordered a camera lens by phone on 1-10-08. I was told it was in stock and I paid extra for "express delivery". I stated I was leaving on holiday on 5 Oct and was assured I would have it by then. The next day I got an e-mail to say it wasn't in stock and I'd be informed when it was available. I responded immediately, asking why I had been told X and then Y and restating that I was expecting it by the 5th. An e-mail came back saying they had found one and it would be sent to arrive on 4th Oct. It didn't. I e-mailed, stating I would be away until 13 Oct and asking that it be delivered on that day and suggesting that a refund of the "express delivery" charge would be the least they could do. I got an e-mail saying it would be delivered on 13 Oct. It wasn't. I e-mailed on the afternoon of 13 Oct (today) and got an e-mail saying it had been sent. I then got an e-mail saying it hadn't, but would be sent to arrive tomorrow (14th). I asked for a refund of the delivery charge (again). I got an e-mail saying they'd refund part of it (!). If it doesn't arrive tomorrow I'm going to ask for all my money back and take legal action if necessary.
