Bang right in the middle of city centre there is a snooker/pool club, and it is called willie thornes. I think they got taken over by rileys a couple of years ago but the place is still the same. We go to play pool mainly and the pool tables are great. They have been taken care of and so are great to play on. The lighting is very good. Centred on the tables so you get great vision. The snooker I do not know much of as I have not been too often. But when I went there were very nice. Very spaced out snooker tables as well so you do not bump into other people. The drinks are priced like normal pubs and bars in city centre which is good.

Snooker Heaven

Wille Thornes has been around for years. They have so many tables all in great condition and also a seperate bar where they play live sports. Under themselves is Qbar a pool place. Here customers have the opportunity to play great snooker. The tables are greener then green. Hardly any rips and the staff are extra friendly. Drinks prices are very cheap and they also serve food which is great. Been here a couple of times with the lads and we have all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It is definately worth checking this snooker place out and one hint of advice! Do try the food. Its very tasty
