• First Class Driving Tuition

  I first took driving lessons with a large driving school back in 1995 and failed my first test. I didn't enjoy the lessons or the 'test experience', so I went off to university and forgot all about driving! To be honest, the experience put me off taking further tuition until I was 32 years of age. I'd recently had my first child and needed to be mobile....so I took the plunge. Alan was recommended to me and I'm so glad I made the call! I was a bag of nerves but he is a fantastic instructor and made me feel at ease immediately. He is extremely patient, very clear in his instruction and to echo the other reviews, he really does have a great sense of humour, which made the lessons enjoyable. Alan was very supportive and encouraging throughout my tuition and before the 'dreaded' test. His car is a joy to learn in, and he takes great care of it. It is no exaggeration to say passing my test has totally changed my life and I can't thank Alan enough! He is a real professional and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to family and friends. At some point, I'd like to take Pass Plus lessons with him.

• Driving Lessons

  I changed to Modern Driver Training after being let down by another Driving Instructor. Alan was great, very patient and willing to help. He always made sure I understood everything and has a brilliant sense of humour that made the lessons fun and enjoyable. He also made sure I was well prepared for both my theory and practical tests which was a great help and improved my confidence. As a result of all his hard work and commitment, I passed my test first time with 0 minors. I have and will continue to recommend Alan to family and friends in the future.

• Driving Lessons

  I had my first driving lesson with Alan when i was 17, i was very nervous but he calmed me down and reassured me throughout. He was very clear in all his explanations and made the most out of the lesson time. He is a very friendly guy with a great sense of humour. Brilliant. :)

• Pass Plus

  I changed to Modern Driver Training for my pass plus lessons, great tuition and improved my confidence when driving. He was always friendly and made the lessons interesting and fun due to his great sense of humour. Would recommend.
